Our CEO Mr. Stuer-Lauridsen is one of the nine appointed experts to the G9 assessment committee and has provided reports on BWTS to the MEPC. LITEHAUZ has a strong knowledge of the technical and biological side of ballast water management and the insight gained serves as a good platform for helping both developers and shipowners with regards to the Ballast Water Management Convention.

For developers
We are proud to announce that we provide world wide assistance to BWTS developers with writing of the applications to IMO and with quality project management from A-Z ensuring the successful voyage of your ballasr water treatment system through basic and final approval. As of late 2011 staff from LITEHAUZ are involved in G8 testing and type approval of two systems and in G9 testing and approval of five BWTS using active substances. 

For shipowners
We guide shipowners regarding exemptions from the ballast water treatment requirement and currently conduct the first risk assessment for that purpose. We guide shipowners in selection of BWTS suiting your needs.
